The Capital...

If you look close...you can see the Lincoln Memorial far away

Last week I had the opportunity to see our nation's capital! It was very exciting for me because I've visited it once before but was only a young child and so I wasn't very interested in all the statues, memorials, and museums at the time. After touring around the Lincoln Memorial, which was my favorite site, the group I was with decided to walk to the Capitol Building. It was about 2.2 miles in distance between the two memorials and as we were walking I was reminded of how blessed and privileged I was to live in a country where I have so many freedoms, especially the freedom to worship the Lord without persecution.

Dude, that is cool about seeing the Lincoln memorial. I've been there and it is pretty awe-inspiring. But did you check out the outhouse that is right next to it?! It is called the stinkin' memorial. Not as impressive but it definitely lives up to its name.

Outhouse? I totally missed it. The "Stinkin Memorial"! That's so funny.
